The features of hydroecosystem impact assessment of dredging operations in the water objects of different classies

The features of hydroecosystem impact assessment of dredging operations in the water objects of different classies are produced. The structure of environmental impact of economic activity is presented. It shows the sequence of estimation of impact from the subject of impact to the possible ecological consequences of activity. It allows methodologically to combine the basic stages of EIA. The additional classification sign of nature protection measures is entered. It is the orientation on a management the factors of impacts or factors of environment. This sign is used in development of recommendations of the increase of ecological safety of dredging operations.

This article are put estimation territory of the spreading lower cretaceous clays of predgornij Crimea on degree ecologic-geological condition, installed on the basis of criterion: physical, swelling-shrinkage, deformational and strength properties, hydrogeological, exogeodynamical, seismic and influences to economic activity (technogenous).

Lead, cobalt and zinc in soils of the Transcarpation region

Described sources of receipt of heavy metals in the environment of Transcarpation, ways of hit, accumulation and fixing them in soils. Modern information about heavy metals, in particular lead, zinc, cobalt in soils of the Transcarpation region is analysed. It is shown that gross maintenance of zinc in soils of region is large enough comparative with other regions of Ukraine; the table of contents of cobalt in the Transcarpation soils is the almost lowest, and the amount of lead only in some districts exceeds background maintenance.

Bioindication of the tehnogeny transformed territories with the use of kinds Drosophila melanogaster Mеіg. and Drosophila Funebris F.

Researches were carried out on natural populations Drosophila melanogaster Mеіg. and Drosophila funebris F., staying in identical ecological conditions that have allowed to lead the comparativeanalysis of efficiency of use of the given kinds as bioindicators of a condition of technophage the transformed territories.

Effective utilization of industrial and domestic wastes

Lack of modern enterprises for their utilization has resulted in accumulation of significant quantity of waste and pesticides in Ukraine. Some aspects of the biological activity and structure of the water after physical and chemical activation using track-membranes

The state-of-the-art representations about structure and the biological activity of liquid water were surveyed. The mechanisms of the physicals fields influence on the processes of its activation are discussed. The comparative analysis on the degrees of the waters activity with various pre-award physical and chemical treatment is carried out using of the electrochemical methods. The increased biological activity of the water after track membranes and the filters NEROX is established.

The offer on an establishment of uniform meaning of allowed concentration (AC) for phosphates in reservoirs destined for fishing

On the basis of comparison of 6-working meanings of AC for phosphates in water of reservoirs destined for fishing with the ecological specifications of quality of surface waters it is offered to establish uniform meaning of AC for phosphates in reservoirs destined for fishing at a level 0,17 mgPO4/dm3, that corresponds to AC for potassium hydrogen phosphate sour two-replaced and „satisfactory” ecological quality of water in a reservoir.

The implementing results of scientific research «The development of demonstration project on application of ultraviolet (UV) method of foul water disinfection in the conditions of plumbing economy» are presented in the work. The comparative analysis of chemical method of disinfection such as chlorinating and physical method of UV decontamination is carried out. The experience of applying UV decontamination in the developed world countries is examined. Implementation results of research are spotted. The conclusions and recommendations for choosing the necessary UV equipment for certain waste disposal plants and its exploitation conditions are formulated.

The edible medicinal mushroom Pleurotus ostreatus – the place in the natural and artificial ecosystems and the importance for man

It was demonstrated the spreading of Pleurotus ostreatus in the different plant zones and on the different tree kinds. The peculiarities of the wood decomposition by P.ostreatus were investigated. The role of P.ostreatus in wood-destroing fungi succession was studied. The nutritious value and medicinal properties of P. ostreatus fruit bodies was discussed.

Atmospheric gas composition and associated climate variations: revealed from ice cores. Part 1

The paper compares methodology and results of ice core investigations, conducted by different research teams, to look at atmospheric gas composition back to 420 thousand years ago. Results from different drills representing overlapping periods of time led to alternative data contrasting. The gas composition investigation results are confronted with corresponding climatic events in the past, so their interrelationship with climate change can be evident.
